Hi, I’m Chris Pahlow 👋

I’m the founder of
Amplifying Research.

I help impact-driven research orgs think strategically about building the reach, reputation, and relationships they need to drive meaningful impact and long-term sustainability.

I also host the Amplifying Research podcast, where I’m lucky enough to get to chat with world-leaders in impact, knowledge mobilisation, science communication, and beyond each month.

Before starting my consulting firm, I worked for more than 15 years as a writer, director, and producer for film, television, and audio productions.

Over the course of my career, I’ve collaborated on projects for the British Broadcasting Corporation, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Village Roadshow, and more.

A few highlights include two feature-length films released in cinemas, directing a music video with more than 1M views, and working as a writer and producer on last year’s “Incoming” podcast which generated more than 120k downloads in its first year.
